HafenTraum 5th anniversary
Once upon a time ... an idea for a unique hostel in Bremen.
It matured in the minds of the makers of the HafenRevueTheater and HafenRummel.
It had to be special and adapted to the location. Because it was already located in Bremen's former overseas port. It was the bare halls that called out for this idea.
Historic caravans were purchased and converted into hotels - as were wooden huts. Family bathrooms and heating systems were elaborately installed, which increased the level of comfort to an unimagined level and created an ambience that the port of Bremen had never seen before.
Then the opening took place on 15.04.2019 and the north of Germany had its new attraction: the HafenTraum - the indoor hostel camp.
33 beds in campers, shepherd's wagons, cabins and even two rooms. All designed with the old Bremen overseas port and the ships of seafaring nations moored there in mind.
Romantic, but cosy and definitely an event for city tourists, adventurous families and company celebrations looking for a special highlight.
And since even the Corona period has not been able to harm this unique hostel, the HafenTraum in Bremen is now celebrating its 5th birthday: on 15.04.24 from 3-5 p.m. with an open day with guided tours for all interested and curious people in the old stevedoring facility in Überseestadt.

33 comfortable accommodations in 11 small oldtimer caravans, tiny houses, rooms and wooden cabins make dreaming and slumbering
in your very own harbour world with 15 countries an unforgettable experience.
Each sleeping accommodation represents a seafaring nation and features lovely design and stylish decorations.
The meticulously designed wagons in the harbour ambience are complemented by small seating areas and breakfast baskets.
Enjoy breakfast on your own jetty or read a book under the harbour lantern in the evening - no matter the weather.
If you like the communicative atmosphere, you will feel at home with us. Tip: bring slippers.
Pets are only allowed in the family room (separate entrance).
